We humans have the tendency to think and do diverse things at ones. Sometimes we eat and gain too much weight, then we realize that we need to be healthier, then we start looking for solutions for weight loss.

I practically hate being over weighted. I was over weighted as a child and while growing circumstances actually made me to lose weight. Recently, I decided to avoid weight gain by changing my eating routine. It totally worked for me.

 

I am going to be sharing here on ten different ways which you can use to lose weight fast and naturally. It is up to you which one of the ten you choose and stick to. I advise you take it as a routine and see how it goes before changing your mind.

Before going over to give you the ten tips to lose weight fast and naturally, I must advise you on the what will help you in losing weight. I know you have a lot of questions in your mind how possible it is to lose weight fast, I want to tell you that it is possible. What you should do is;

Consistency in routine

When you set out to do weight loss, and you believe it is going to work out, don’t stop till you get your result. Being consistent with the routine you choose or with the new diet will help you in your course.

Make sure to keep trying, stay consistent with your routine and set out weekly or monthly goals. Do your best to achieve it and it you will be surprised with the result.

 

I was one of those people who usually start something and leave it incomplete. Once I told myself this has to change. I discovered my little efforts made a lot of difference in my progress in life.

As human beings, it is okay to worry about things. But worrying about them too much just stresses us out and we may get frustrated and give up. 1. You should Eat protein for breakfast.

I have read that, if you want to skip a meal, don’t skip breakfast. Don’t just eat any kind of thing for breakfast, instead eat a lot of proteins. It has been proven that protein regulates appetite hormones so that humans can feel full due to reduction in

hunger hormone ghrelin. This leads to you being and feeling satisfied because the satiety hormone has increased.

High protein food examples include, eggs, quinoa porridge, chia seed pudding, oats. You can research more on high protein breakfast if you like.

2. Reduce the consumption of sugar and Refined Carbohydrate

Obesity is caused by many factors including added sugars. So much sugar will make you to gain weight and that is not what you are trying to achieve right?

On the other hand, refined Carbohydrate will only increase your weight too because these foods has no fiber and nutrients that is beneficial to you.

These two things contribute to weight gain by the entering of the excess sugar into your blood provoking insulin which is the hormone which promotes the storage of fat in the adipose tissue leading to weight gain.

Therefor limit the consumption of food, fruits and things that contain sugar and refined Carbohydrates like past, bread, Sweet fruit juice,

3. Drink lots of Water.

Water is one of the things that can make you lose weight fast and it is one of the free gifts of nature that does not cost you anything.

Drinking lots of water very early in the morning when you wake up and when you want to go to bed will actually help in weight loss. This is one of my favorite methods of weight loss.

Drinking water helps to remove excess fat from your system that could have turned into fat and makes sure to keep you hydrated for the day.

4. Intermittent fasting

Intermittent fasting is a routine of eating in which you decide on hours that you will stay away from eat food and have specific hours that you will eat during the day.

I tried this and it is working for me. I decided that I won’t eat till 3pm a day at first and I respected that routine. It made me to loss weight. I didn’t do it with the intention to loss weight though, I just didn’t like eating anymore but it helped me out. When I saw that it made me lose weight, I took it very serious and its paying off.

From several studies conclusion, 24 weeks intermittent fasting will lead to weight loss. The ways to do this include;

 

ADF (Alternate Day Fasting)– Fast every day and eating normally on non fasting days or Eating 25-30 percent of the energy the body need on fasting days.

 

5:2 Diet- It says you should fast on 2 days out of the 7 days in a week. Eat just 500-600 calories on the fasting days.

The 16/8 method-This method needs you to fast for the 16 hours and eat only for the remaining 8 hours of the day.

Out of the above, choose the one that works for you and remember to just do your best and leave the rest to the universe.

 

5. Practicing Mindful Eating

This is a practice whereby, people pay attention to how and where they eat food. This can make you to enjoy the food you eat and maintain a healthy weight.

As I started noticing my weight loss from my change in eating time and routine, I became conscious on how, Where and when and what I eat. I made sure not to over eat and to just eat what was necessary for my stomach and I started avoiding the types of juice with much sugar and went in for the natural fruit juice that weren’t too sweet.

You should do the following while eating,

⦁ Eat slowly: Take your time to chew and savor the food. This will help in your pursuit for weight loss, because it gives your brain enough time to take note of the signals that your stomach is full, making you not to over eat.

⦁ Sit down to eat on the table. Be comfortable while eating and enjoy your meal.

6. Always Get a good night’s sleep

The body needs a lot of rest and a good night’s sleep is one of the ways designed to let the body to rest. Endeavor to get at least 5-6 hours sleep every night because lack of sleep has slow down the process in which the body will convert calories to energy. When metabolism doesn’t take place effectively, the body will store the unused energy as fat leading to weight gain.

Other hormones responsible for the storage of unused energy to fat can be produce and you don’t want that. So it is advisable to get a good night sleep so that we can wake up the next morning strong and healthy.

    The one thing I know that is of utmost importance when it comes to weight loss is your mindset, so I definitely agree with you about having a positive outlook.

    And of course lay off the twinkies and chocolate cookies, completely until you reach your goal and then have a cheat day.

    At least that’s what worked for me, I love this article though, very motivating.

    Hi!
    You have some really good tips in there.
    I can tell you from my personal experience that cutting out the carbs and sugars is definitely the way to go.
    You will lose weight, and feel better too!
    I think we all need to eat more protein too, especially as we age.
    Fasting is very beneficial as well.  I started out with the 16/8 method, and now I do the OMAD (one meal a day) method.
    I find that it helps me lose weight, gives me extra time to do other things, and saves a few bucks on groceries.
    Anybody that follows those three tips will definitely lose weight.

    I am all for losing weight fast, and the tips that you have included all seem like they will be effective. Of the ones you listed, some are easier than others to implement, depending on where you are and what you are doing. Others are easy to follow anywhere.

    Drinking more water, for instance, is a wise thing to do for a number of reasons. This is how the body can wash out the waste and impurities, and it also means that you will eat less as the water fills you up. The tip on eating fewer sweets and carbs is also a good one.

    The two that I find hard is getting adequate sleep and the intermittent fasting angles. In my business, you are always confronted with snacks and foods, morning, noon, and night it seems. Fasting is a good and healthy thing, but hard to explain in some social situations.

    On the sleep tip, I have so much on my plate that it is seldom that I get 7-8 hours a night. These days I get a few hours, work 8-10 hours, then get a few more hours. That is, of course, less than ideal. I will try to do better because I know just how important sleep is not only for losing weight.

    Thanks for an interesting and useful post on how to lose some weight fast, and it has prompted me to have a look at my habits to see where I might improve to lost that extra 10 pounds that really needs to go!

      Hello Dave, thanks for stopping by. The adequate sleep is really important. I get it that it is hard to accomplish as a busy man but like you say, we keep making efforts for our health. Eating habits are one of the things I am adjusting to too and learning to eat slow, lol in this crazy world we barely find time to take all the time to eat slow but however, if it helps we must do our best.

    I totally agree about the stressing out. Stress, especially in women, raises cortisol levels which will actually reverse the losing weight and help put on even more pounds. So definitely, no stressing.

    Mindful eating is also something I try to practice. Especially, when it comes down to the conscious energy of the food we are putting in our mouths. I also think about all the hard work from the plant to the farmer when I eat, and have much gratitude for every bite. Food doesn’t just show up in a grocery store and then we buy it, so much work goes into it including nature. That little honey bee, also did a lot to get you that food. 

    When you mindful eat, you get more energy out of your food and a whole new appreciation for it.

    Good article Lerakinz. As you point out, and I have discovered for myself, a change of attitude or opinion toward oneself is essential. The process of improving one’s self-image can happen in multiple ways, and meditation is one way that works well for me.

    I love eggs; however, as with other dairy products, I get congested after consumption. My challenge was to discover what other foods and combination of foods created a complete protein. I have a shake and grains to accomplish my morning intake of protein.

    How does hydration directly influence hunger?

    The 16/8 fast is particularly attractive to me primarily because I am asleep for most of that time.
